In the midst of the charming South Šumava forests, in the cradle of the mighty Lords of the Rose and the proud seat of the Counts de Buquoy, the picturesque town of Rožmberk, stands our family hotel and traditional restaurant “U Martina”, right on the banks of the Vltava River.
The hotel and restaurant are located in a fully renovated historic building from the 13th century, with a terrace overlooking the romantic Rožmberk Castle and Chateau, one of the most precious jewels of the Bohemian Forest (Šumava) and South Bohemia.
In the main season (May-September, the restaurant in the Rožmberk Pivovar is open during the off-season), we offer our guests the opportunity to experience the honest cuisine of Southern Šumava and regional products in our main hotel restaurant, as well as quality accommodation with a long-standing tradition. For accommodation, we provide 23 rooms in three buildings in the city center, two of which are located on the main square and one on the so-called Žofia square, away from the main street traffic. We have recently opened the new Rožmberk Brewery building with 20 rooms, where there is a central reception for all buildings of the Martin hotel, where breakfasts are also served in the local restaurant daily from 8:00-10:00.
As part of our services, guests of Hotel U Martina also have a private wellness studio, equipped with a whirlpool, sauna and infrared sauna, as well as the hotel information center, which is newly located in the building of Pivovar Rožmberk 65 in the reception, whose staff is always ready to help you plan your wander through the southern Šumava, as well as a private parking lot, which is located next to the main hotel building.
Sports-minded guests who are planning to sail the Vltava or actively explore our region will certainly appreciate the services of the boat and raft rental company.
