The Hotel U Martina – Restaurant Kocábka is located in the historical centre of Rožmberk nad Vltavou, right on the main square, less than 40 m from the main building of the Hotel U Martina.
Our “Kocábka”, (the “Cockelboat” in English) offers an originally furnished restaurant in the style of a pirate ship’s deck, with a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, especially rums, mixed drinks, wines from Znovín and good Czech beer, Plzeňský Prazdroj (Pilsner Urquell) and Kozel, and of course non-alcoholic drinks.
As for the cuisine, our offer at Kocábka is dominated by Czech and old Bohemian classics, the quality of which is supervised by the local Kutil family from Rožmberk.
Kocábka and its terrace by the Vltava River, located directly opposite the Rožmberk Castle, is famous for its regular “barbecues”, which are held under the supervision of the chefs of the main U Martina Restaurant. In the summer, we grill every Saturday, and it is possible to book a fine honest Rožmberk barbecue for groups, corporate events, celebrations and weddings on other days.
The “Kocábka” building has 10 rooms, 4 of which offer a direct view of the Rožmberk Castle.
The hotel and the restaurant, which are located on the main square, are about 350 metres from the Rožmberk Castle, standing on the other side of the river, 14 km from Lipno nad Vltavou (and the Lipno Lake) and 23 km from Český Krumlov.
